Mission: To empower Georgia IB schools to develop equitable, community-focused IB programs from PreK to graduation and beyond through collaboration, advocacy, and support.
Vision: IBGA will significantly expand its capacity, resources, and services to member schools while fostering the growth of IB programs in Georgia.
Primary Purpose: To pursue the best possible educational advantages for students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate programs of the member schools.
The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
